I've always been fascinated by the little moments that stay with us. Sometimes they're memories, sometimes they're places, and sometimes they're simply things I can't stop looking at.
Somehow, those moments always find their way into my sketchbook, where they become, motifs, patterns and collections.

Hi, I'm Kate
After more than 25 years as a graphic designer, I found myself returning to the place where my creativity first began – painting and drawing by hand.
Today I create hand-painted surface pattern collections inspired by the little moments that stay with us. Every design begins with watercolour, ink and mixed media before being carefully refined digitally, evolving into collections for fabric, wallpaper and home décor.

From Paint to Pattern
Every collection begins by hand, using watercolour, inks and mixed media to capture the memories and moments that inspire me.
Once painted or sketched, each motif is carefully refined and transformed into professional surface pattern collections, thoughtfully created to be scalable, adaptable and ready for licensing across fabric, wallpaper, home décor and lifestyle products.

COLLECTION
Garden of Memories
Garden of Memories is a nostalgic collection inspired by the garden I grew up in and watched grow, sitting under the lilac tree, painting some of my first paintings of flowers — a place filled with colour, imagination and quiet childhood moments that stayed with me long after childhood itself. Through hand-drawn storytelling patterns and playful, bold nostalgic colour, the collection reflects warmth, wonder and the emotional connection we carry through memory and home.

COLLECTION
Reflection
Reflection is a collection inspired by childhood memories of water, light and nature. Drawing on the colours, movement and reflections found around my garden pond, I created a series of patterns that capture the beauty of light in motion. Whether applied to curtains, wallpaper or soft furnishings, my hope is that these designs become living artworks, bringing colour, warmth and an ever-changing sense of light and life into the home.
